Enanga bounces back as Police spokesman
Two and a half years after he was move from the Police’s public relations office, Fred Enanga has been re-appointed Police spokesman.
Enanga who is at the rank of Commissioner of Police (CP) was in August 2016 sacked by then Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura and replaced by the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.
Kaweesi held the portfolio for six months before he was gunned down in March 2017 that the docket was given to AIGP Assan Kasingye who held it between March and September 2017 when SSP Emillian Kayima got appointed to the office.
Enanga returns with Assistant Commissioner of Police Polly Namaye Bagambaki, still as his deputy.
In the new transfer by the Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola, Kayima is now in charge of publications while his deputy SP Patrick Onyango has been taken back Kampala Metropolitan police as spokesperson.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Luke Oweyesigire. Oweyesigire who has been Kampala Metropolitan police spokesman will deputise Onyango.
