Bobi Wine, East African youth leaders launch Youth for Africa Movement

Babu Owino, the MP for Embakasi East in the Kenyan National Assembly this week hosted youth leaders from across East Africa in Nairobi to launch a campaign intended to bring the youth agenda to the fore.

Among the young leaders that have been in Nairobi for three days of packed activity that climaxed with a rally at the Jacaranda grounds in Owino’s Embakasi East constituency was Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

At the rally, the young politicians announced the formation “Youth For Africa” movement.

“From today, as the young people of this continent, we will take charge of our destiny. We will no longer seek approval and ask for permission for what is rightfully ours, from today, we demand our fair share,” Owino said.

Kyagulanyi said that the movement is aimed at the liberation of Africa.

“We are going to continue getting together with other young leaders across Africa for the liberation of not only Uganda but Africa as a whole,” Kyagulanyi said.
