Congolese giants TP Mazembe sign Uganda’s Ochaya
Uganda Cranes left back Joseph Ochaya has inked a two-year-deal with Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) football giants, TP Mazembe.
The former KCCA FC defender has been with no club since parting ways with Zambia’s Lusaka Dynamos that he joined last year.
Ochaya left the Zambian club about three months ago due to alleged non-payment of his wages.
In DRC, Ochaya is looking for an opportunity for a move to Belgium which will depend on his performance at TP Mazembe.
He joins the list of other Ugandans, Mike Mutyaba and Patrick Ochan who have previously played for TP Mazembe, a club known for its good, consistency and commendable performance and salary payments to it’s players which are challenges to so many African football clubs.
