SC Villa held as Vipers gets last minute saviour

New signing, Davis Kasirye’s added-time-goal saved league champions SC Vipers from a humiliating barren draw with league debutants Ndejje University FC at St Mary’s stadium Kitende.

Kasirye scored after 90 minutes to earn the home team a 1- nil win against Ndejje.

In Arua, home side, Onduparaka FC beat debutants Nyamityobora FC 2-0, the same margin with which tax collectors
URA FC beat new comers Paidha Black Angels at Namboole.

Onduparaka’s goals came from Vianney Sekajugo in 27th minute and goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato who converted a 78th minute penalty after Sekajugo had been brought down in the box.

Vitalitis Tabu scored once in both halves of the game to give URA maximum points at Namboole.

At Mwererwe, hosts Bright Stars FC beat Maroons FC 3-1.
Bright Stars’ captain Nelson Ssenkatuuka scored a brace before Augustine Kacancu added a third one.
Rashid Agau scored a consolation goal for coach George Best Nsimbe’s Maroons FC.

At Lugogo, Patrick Kaddu and Allan Okello scored as KCCA FC beat Tooro United 2-1 with Tooro’s consolation goal coming from Allan Kayiwa.

In Jinja, the visiting SC Villa settled for a 2-all draw with Kirinya Jinja SS.
