She Cranes qualifies netball world cup
Uganda national netball team, She Cranes has qualified for the 2019 netball World Cup after beating Zambia 64-56 in their fifth game of the ongoing Africa netball championships in Zambia.
She Cranes has so far won all its five games in the tournament which is also doubles as the regional world cup qualifying tournament.
The national team is remaining with a game against Zimbabwe to climax the tournament.
Even if the She Cranes lose the game, they have already qualified for the biggest world netball tournament while a win will ensure that they retain the African netball championship title they won last year in Kampala.
Coach Vincent Kiwanuka has hailed his team for consistency and superb display during the tournament.
This will be the second time in row Vincent Kiwanuka is steering the national team to the continental title.
