Leader of the opposition in Parliament Betty Aol Acan led a group of MPs and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago to visit the unconscious MP in hospital.
Acan told journalists that Zaake was in a dire state with his life running on a machine with a terribly swollen head.
“It’s sad, for me as a mother, the sight is unbearable. If you see your son in that state you can collapse” Acan said.
Before heading to Lubaga, Acan had been turned away from Makindye Military Police Barracks where she and her team had gone to see the incarcerated Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.
Acan threatened to lead Opposition MPs to boycott Parliament until Bobi Wine is moved from military custody.
