Vipers SC sacks head coach
A year and four months into his three-year contract, Miguel Da Costa has been shown the exit at Vipers SC.
The Portuguese joined the Vipers SC in March last on a three-year contract that saw him guide the club its third Azam Uganda Premier league title but failed to guide them past CECAFA Kagame clun championships quarter finals.
The club’s average performance at the regional club championships could have been the cause for his sacking.
Edward Golola is expected to takeover the club’s coaching role as it prepares for the CAF Champions league and the 2018/2019 topflight league.
Da Costa joins the likes of Shafick Bisaso on list of sacked Uganda topflight league coaches after the end of the season.
