Bungabet flies in premier league stars

Former Arsenal right-back Emmanuel Eboue will be in Uganda for different charity activities courtesy of Bunga bet who have patterned with Uganda Revenue Authority to bring the Ivory Coast player.

Eboue will land in Uganda on Tuesday at 12pm aboard Qatar Airways. He will be joining former Hull City player Ibrahima Sonko who is already in Uganda.

“They will be around for a month, doing World Cup commentary on UBC TV’s afternoon sports show, The Score, and, they will also take part in various charity activities in hospitals and schools,” said Prosper Tuhaise, the Bunga Bet Chief Executive Officer.

Eboue will visit different soccer academies in Uganda in a quest to encourage the youth in football locally.

On June 29 Eboue and Sonko are expected to join a select team that will be playing against URA FC at Mandela national stadium – Namboole. This will be URA FC’s first and official pre-season game led by Sam Ssimbwa who was officially handed the club’s coaching job permanently last week.

Later next week, Eboue and Sonko are expected to be joined by former Manchester United player Quinton Fortune.
