Saudi Arabia donates to needy Muslims

In strengthening the spirit of brotherhood especially during the Holy month of Ramadhan, the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Kampala has spent more than Shs 20m in support of needy Muslims.

The support in form of food stuffs such as sugar, wheat flour and rice, cooking oil, maize flour and meat was delivered to Muslim communities in Kotido, Kapchworwa, Luweero, Butambala, Kanungu and Masaka districts.

Sheikh Ibrahim Kyobe delivered the packages on behalf of the Saudi ambassador to Uganda Dr Abdullah Al-Qahtani who encouraged Muslims to use the month of Ramadhan and give more in charity especially to the poor needy.
