Uganda retains 74th Position in new FIFA rankings

Uganda has remained static to its 74th position in the just released Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) rankings.

Uganda has collected 426 points, same points as last month despite not being involved in any international footballing activity this month.

However, with expectations for Uganda cranes to play two international friendly games against Niger and Central African Republic towards the end of this month, there is hope for Uganda to improve in FIFA rankings in case of positive results.

Germany remains on top of the world football governing body rankings with 1533 points followed by Brazil.

Tunisia is now the top African ranked nation in 14th with 1012 points followed by Senegal in 28th position with 825 points.

Uganda, going by how African nations are ranked now, is 16th.

Next rankings will be out between 16th and 17th next month.
