Ugandan boxers target semi-final in African championship in Morocco

Bunya hopes to go all the way to semi final in order to win a medal.
“I am targeting semifinals since it’s the medal bracket. Knock out might not explain the real hardship I got taking on that Cameroonian, but he wasn’t easy and I have learnt a lesson that will help me since I am still in the race for a medal,” Bunya said.
Also welterweight boxer Ukasha Matovu qualified for quarter final after he beat Cape Verde’s David Cleiton Pina .
Earlier on Uganda had started the tournament poorly after team captain Collins Mutyaba and Onen Jaffer were eliminated from the championships on day one.
