SC Villa defeats Jinja SS to return to second place

In a game played at the Masaka recreation ground, Martin Kiiza scored a penalty before George Ssenkaaba netting the second goal to seal the Joogo’s win.

SC Villa now has moved to second place on the Azam Uganda Premier league table with 53 points, two behind table leaders Vipers SC.
The two teams now have four games each to conclude the league.

In other game; Sam Ssimbwa’s Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC has settled for a goalless draw with Arua based side Onduparaka FC in a game played in Arua.

This has been coach Sam Ssimbwa’s first game as URA FC bench.

Meanwhile two relegation battlers Masavu fc and Mbarara City have settled for a 1-all draw in a game played in Bugonga.

Emmanuel Obina scored for the visiting side Mbarara city through spot kick before Ibrahim Pengere scored the equalizer for Masavu fc.
League will be back on Saturday.
