Vipers defeat Proline 3-0 in Azam Premier League
Vipers FC has won 3-1 against Proline to stretch their lead at the top of Azam Uganda premier league.
Goals from Moses Waiswa, Daniel Serunkuma and substitute Pius Wanji secured the needed victory for the Kitende based side. Vipers now have 55 points on top of the table with now four games to end the season.
Meanwhile in Wankulukuku; Express FC lost 2-1 to league defending champions KCCA in a game that was suspended for a while after funs protested Nunda’s goal with Express FC.
Allan Okello and Jackson Nunda scored for KCCA FC.
The game was suspended for a few minutes after funs protested Jackson Nunda’s goal. This has left KCCA FC in second place with 51 points, one above third placed SC Villa.
Express FC loss is big blow to its chances of staying in Azam Uganda premier league as they remain 15 on table with 26 points.
Clubs that will finish fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth at the end of the season will be relegated to FUFA big league.
In Kakindu, BUL FC won 2-0 against prisons side Maroons with Hamis Tibita scoring the two goals for BUL. UPDF in Mwererwe settled for a goalless draw to remain in contention to stay in Azam Uganda premier league.
