KCCA, Express face off in Azam Premier League

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC will on Tuesday face off with Express FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

Derrick Nsibambi will be playing for the  KCCA team after he missed the Friday game with Vipers Sc. However he will be bank in action in Wankulukuku.

In pre-match press briefing the KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi said that spectators should expect a good game from both sides with since KCCA FC are still in title race with Express FC fighting against relegation.

I hope to see more fans in Wankulukuku and let them hope to see a good game. The Friday game in Kitende painted a good picture of our football fans. We have our goals, Express too fighting relegation so each team will come to achieve its goals,” said Mutebi.

He added that Derrick Nsibambi who missed the Friday game against Vipers is back and might start tomorrow game.

Mutebi however requested the referees to smartly do their job for the good of the game
On Friday after Vipers’ game Mutebi lamented how Vipers midfielder Tadeo Lwanga had to be sent off the pitch but referee Ali Sabila didn’t act upon Tadeo’s “dirty” play.

Mutebi believes that this game will prepare his side too for the Friday away game against Botswana side Township Rollers in CAF champions league

KCCA FC currently stand third on Azam Uganda premier league table, four points behind table leaders Vipers. Express FC are still in relegation battle at 26 points in 15th position.
