Express FC brightened its chances of surviving relegation from the Azam Uganda Premier League with a win against Mbarara City FC.

David Ndihabwe scored the lone goal that gave Express FC maximum points in the 78th minute.
The Wankuluku side remains in the relegation zone with 22 points, two points less than the 13th place Mbarara City FC.

At Masaka Recreation Ground, home side SC Villa beat Police FC 1:0.
Martin Kizza found the net for Villa in the 51st minute to ensure the three maximum points for the league table leaders.

At Mandela National Stadium Namboole, URA FC beat Kirinya Jinja SS 2:0.
Charles Ssempa headed in after two minutes of play before Hudu Mulikyi sealed the win with a 91-minute goal.

At Mwererwe, home side Bright Stars FC settled for 2-all draw with Soana FC.
Siraje Turyamuhabwe and Mark Kawooya scored for the visitors while Bright Stars’ scoresheet had

Henry Kiwanuka and team captain Nelson Ssenkatuka.
Relegation threatened Masavu FC and Proline FC settled for a 1-all draw.

Proline took the lead in the 12th minute with a goal from Gift Ali and held on till the 82nd minute when Arthur Ssemazzi equalised for Masavu FC.

At Kakindu stadium in Jinja, SC Vipers was held by BUL FC.
