KCCA makes history

A 46-minute goal is all that Ugandan champions KCCA FC needed to qualify for the lucrative CAF Champions League group stages.

Muhammad Shaban scored the all important goal that assured KCCA of at least $550,000 (Shs 2billion).

The match at StarTimes stadium Lugogo was watched by a maximum home crowd that was thrown into ecstatic celebration the moment Shaban found the net.

The first leg in Addis Ababa a week ago ended in a barren draw.
JIMMY SSEMAKADDE captured the action at Lugogo on camera as KCCA became first Ugandan club to qualify for the group stages of the Total CAF Champions League

Captains of both teams exchange pleasantries before match kicked off.
