Cranes team for Niger camp summoned
Uganda Cranes coach Sebastian Desabre has summoned twenty three players ahead of Uganda cranes camp in Niger.
The camp will commence on 27th May 2018 and is in line with Uganda Cranes preparations for the 2019 African cup of nations qualifier.
The games will be played in September and October this year against Tanzania and Lesotho respectively.
During the Camp Uganda will play against Niger and Central African Republic.
Desabre is expecting all the players to respond positively to the summon since many of the leagues where they play from will have ended.
The squad has; Timothy Awany, Charles Lukwago, Mohammed Shaban, Milton Kaliisa, Nicolas Wadada and Tadeo Lwanga as the only local based players.
The rest of them, international players are; Denis Onyango, Jamal Salim, Murushid Jjuuko, Denis Iguma, Godfrey Walusimbi, Isaac Muleme, Bevis Mugabi, Joseph Ochaya.
Others are; Khalid Aucho, Allan Kateregga, Moses Okongo, Emmanuel Okwi, Yunus Ssentamu and Edrisa Lubega are all foreign based players.
Some of the players dropped from the team summoned in March this year are Geoffrey Kizito and Isaac Isinde.
